Like they’ve done ten times this postseason, Vegas took the early 1-0 lead 2:25 in the first period of Game 4. William Karlsson scored his sixth goal of the playoffs on an early power play. The Golden Knights took a one goal lead into the first intermission.
The Jets got one back in the second on a power-play goal by Patrick Laine. However, the game was only tied for 43 seconds as Tomas Nosek regained the lead 2-1.
The Jets continued to push in the third period and eventually tied it up 2-2 early in the third period. Thankfully, Vegas wasn’t done as Reilly Smith made a great defensive play and scored an unassisted go-ahead goal. Marc-Andre Fleury stood on his head once again, as Vegas closed the door on the Jets winning 3-2.
