At Adam Kutner Cares, we are proud to shine a spotlight on individuals who go above and beyond to make a positive impact in our community. This month, we had the honor of recognizing Ms. Alexis Johnson, a CCSD science teacher at Northeast Career & Technical Academy, as our Adam Kutner Cares Community Champion Award recipient!
Ms. Johnson’s dedication to her students and their well-being is nothing short of inspiring. She took the initiative to create a suicide peer intervention club, training students to recognize mental health struggles, foster empathy, and connect their peers with trusted adults. Her innovative approach has fostered a safer, more inclusive environment at her school, making a lasting impact on her students and the wider school community.
To honor her incredible work, Ms. Johnson was celebrated at a Vegas Golden Knights game on November 17th. It was a well-deserved moment of recognition for her tireless efforts to create positive change.
Thank you, Ms. Johnson, for your passion, dedication, and compassion. You are a true Community Champion, and your work continues to inspire us all.
At Adam Kutner Cares, we are committed to supporting and celebrating individuals and organizations that make a difference in our community. Together, we can create a brighter, more supportive future for everyone.
