Vegas Golden Knights vs Winnipeg Jets 11-29-2024

The Golden Knights returned from their five-game road trip to host the NHL’s best Winnipeg Jets for an early evening matchup. The Jets took the first lead of the game seven minutes into the game. After failing to convert twice on power play opportunities Vegas began to cook with two minutes left in the frame. First Brett Howden scored on an unassisted breakaway and Ivan Barbashev gave Vegas the 2-1 lead before the break.

Deep into the middle period, Winnipeg evened the score and after 40 minutes of action, the game was locked in a 2-2 tie.

Jack Eichel found Barbashev for the second time of the night. Barbashev’s 12th goal of the season gave his club a 3-2 edge. Four minutes later Winnipeg found the back of the net, tying the game at three a piece. After the Jets tied the game, Howden tallied his second goal of the game nudging VGK to a 4-3 victory.

The Golden Knights record improves to 15-6-3 defeating the Jets 4-3 at home.
