01/11 Winner of Adam Kutner’s Ticket & Zamboni Ride Giveaway

The Golden Knights hosted the Blue Jackets for their last home game of their seven-game homestand and we were able to give one lucky fan tickets and a ride on the Zamboni. Vegas took two penalties in the 1st period and one ended up costing them the first goal of the game. It was the sixth straight game that Vegas allowed the visiting team to score first. Columbus lead 1-0 after the opening 20 minutes.

The Blue Jackets doubled up their lead 2:06 into the 2nd period. Vegas would try and play catch up for the rest of the middle frame. The Golden Knights were awarded two power plays but couldn’t convert. They continued to trail Columbus 2-0.

Vegas struggled again to generate any offense, and Columbus took advantage. The Blue Jackets stretched their lead to 3-0 deep into the 3rd period.

Vegas’ record drops to 24-18-6 and remain with 54 points. The Golden Knights hit the road and play next on Tuesday in Buffalo. The start time is scheduled for 4P.

01/09 Winners of Adam Kutner’s Ticket & Zamboni Ride Giveaway

 

The Vegas Golden Knights took on the Los Angeles Kings and we were able to give away tickets and a ride on the Zamboni to some lucky fans. The 1st period was completely lopsided to the visiting team as they lit up the scoreboard. The Kings scored four times in the opening 20 minutes. Malcolm Subban had trouble stopping the flurry of LA shots. Vegas trailed 4-0 after one period.

The Golden Knights outshot the Kings 24-4 in the 2nd period and would get two past LA goaltender Jack Campbell. After 40 minutes Vegas trailed 4-2.

Vegas was awarded the first power play of the game 13 minutes left in the 3rd period. They couldn’t convert on the man advantage and would still trail 4-2. LA scored a last-minute power-play goal to extend the lead and win 5-2.

Vegas’ record drops to 24-17-6 and remain tied with Arizona for first place in the Pacific Division. The Golden Knights will host the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night. Game time is scheduled for 7P.

01/07 Winner of Adam Kutner’s Ticket & Zamboni Ride Giveaway

The Vegas Golden Knights took on the Pittsburgh Penguins and we were able to give one lucky fan tickets and a ride on the Zamboni. The Penguins came out strong scoring first 2:53 into the opening period. Eventually, Mallin netted his 12th of the year with a nifty backhand over Marc-Andre Fleury. Patric Hornqvist added another goal giving Pittsburgh a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes played. 

Pittsburgh took a 3-0 lead with 4:18 into the second period on a power-play goal. Max Pacioretty would bury his 19th goal of the season keeping Vegas alive. Paul Stastny got his team even closer picking up a power play for the Golden Knights. After two periods the home team trailed 3-2.

The Penguins would extend their lead 4-2 early in the 3rd but Reilly Smith would later get Vegas back to within one. The Golden Knights had a late power play and pulled Fleury for an extra attacker but wouldn’t score the tying goal. After a strong effort, Vegas fell 4-3 to the Penguins. 

Vegas’ record drops to 24-16-6 and fall into second place in the Pacific Division. The Golden Knights will next face off against the LA Kings on Thursday night. Puck drops at 7P.

01/04 Winner of Adam Kutner’s Ticket & Zamboni Ride Giveaway

The Blues did all the scoring in the 1st period. St. Louis had 11 shots on net and three of them got by Marc-Andre Fleury. Old friend David Perron assisted two of the Blues goals. After one period the Golden Knights trailed 3-0.

Vegas would chip away and finally get on the scoreboard late in the 2nd period. Paul Stastny got Vegas within one, scoring against his old team. After 40 minutes played the Golden Knights were down 3-2.

Nicolas Roy would get the all-important tying goal 3 minutes into the final period. Reilly Smith gave Vegas their first lead of the game, climbing all the way back from a three-goal deficit. Perron would tie the game 4-4 and force an overtime period. Chandler Stephenson would score in OT and clinch the game for Vegas

Vegas’ record to 24-15-6 and remain in first place in the Pacific Division. The Golden Knights will next hit the ice on Tuesday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The game will begin at 7P.

12/31 Winner of Adam Kutner’s Ticket & Zamboni Ride Giveaway

The Vegas Golden Knights took on the Anaheim Ducks and we were able to give away tickets and ride on the Zamboni to some lucky fans! The Ducks got on the board first, but their lead wouldn’t last long. Mark Stone tied the game 1-1 with his third goal in his last two games. Alex Tuch jammed one through with :20 seconds left in the 1st period to give his team the 2-1 lead.

Reilly Smith scores the only 2nd period goal, taking advantage of another Ducks mistake. Smith registered his 15th goal of the season, stretching Vegas’ lead to 3-1.

Jonathan Marchessault extended the lead to 4-1 with his first penalty shot of the season. The Ducks would get one back to get within two but Vegas would score an empty-netter and come away with a 5-2 victory.

Vegas’ record improves to 22-15-6 winning their last game of 2019. They’ll next take the ice on Thursday night against the Philadelphia Flyers. Game is scheduled for 7p.
