Nevada Child Seekers is a nonprofit organization committed to preventing child abductions and advocating for the well-being of children across Nevada. Through community events like Youth Fest, they bring families together while raising awareness about critical issues such as safety education and missing children recovery.

Youth Fest 2024 was a day filled with meaningful connections, educational activities, and family-friendly fun. It was inspiring to see so many members of the community come together to support this important cause and create a safer environment for our children.

Volunteer with Inclusion Fusion Receives Adam Kutner Cares Community Champion Award & Other Surprises

This Veterans Day, we had the honor of celebrating a local hero with a heart as big as his service record. Clarke Paris, a dedicated volunteer with Inclusion Fusion, an autism charity supporting families, received a very special surprise: the Adam Kutner Cares Community Champion award! Nominated by his own daughter, Clarke has spent countless hours volunteering for this meaningful cause, working alongside his daughter, who’s also involved with Inclusion Fusion.To make the moment unforgettable, we surprised Clarke on Friday with an award plaque, custom Adam Kutner Cares/VGK cookies, tickets to the Veterans Day game, and the exciting news that he would get to ride the Zamboni—an honor fitting for this community champion. Clarke’s daughter, who nominated him, had shared her excitement for the big reveal, and, as she predicted, her dad did indeed shed a few tears when he realized the extent of the surprise.

Members of the law firm and the social team were on hand to capture this special moment. With a banner, plaque, and treats ready, we celebrated Clarke’s contributions and dedication. It was a heartwarming tribute, not just to his past service, but to the ongoing impact he makes in our community.We were thrilled to recognize Clarke’s dedication and service to others, and it was truly an inspiring reveal!

Vegas Golden Knights vs Calgary Flames 10-28-2024

The Golden Knights hosted the Calgary Flames for a between the Pacific Division’s two top teams. Vegas came up with opening goal six minutes into the opening frame. Defenseman Alex Pietrangelo gave Vegas a 1-0 lead with his first goal of the season.

Vegas’ captain Mark Stone doubled his club’s lead scoring his fifth goal of 2024-25. After 40 minutes of action the Golden Knights held a 2-0 edge.

Quickly into the final twenty minutes Keegan Kolesar put Vegas ahead 3-0 and made it a four goal lead several shifts later. Linemate Nic Roy joined the party to give the Golden Knights a commanding 5-0 advantage.

The Golden Knights record improves to 7-2-1 and remain unbeaten at home by defeating the Flames 5-0. On Wednesday Vegas will face the Kings in Los Angeles. Puck drop against LA is scheduled for 7 PM.

Vegas Golden Knights vs San Jose Sharks 10-26-2024

The Golden Knights hosted the San Jose Sharks trying to remain undefeated at home. It didn’t take long for Vegas’ offense to get going against the struggling Sharks. In the first four minutes of the game, Tanner Pearson and Jack Eichel had Vegas up 2-0. Late in the frame, Brett Howden notched his fourth goal of the season to give the Golden Knights a 3-0 1st period advantage.

San Jose cut VGK’s lead down to two goals midway through the middle frame but William Karlsson in his season debut jumped on a loose puck :57 seconds later. In the last minute of the 2nd period both teams recorded goals and Vegas led at the end of the frame up 5-2.

Both teams traded chances in the final 20 minutes, but Vegas was able to defend and protect their multiple goal lead. Eventually, Mark Stone picked up VGK’s sixth goal of the night. San Jose tacked one at the end but Brett Howden then scored his second of the game. The Golden Knights captured their fifth home victory and remain unbeaten in Las Vegas.

The Golden Knights record improves to 6-2-1 defeating the Sharks 7-3 from T-Mobile Arena.

Vegas Golden Knights vs Ottawa Senators 10-25-2024

The Golden Knights hosted the Ottawa Senators for an afternoon matchup on Nevada Day. Ottawa scored 2:40 into the 1st period taking the opening 1-0 lead. The Senators doubled their lead ten minutes later. The Golden Knights offense picked up late in the frame with back-to-back goals in 21 seconds. However, the Senators regained their lead before the break and took a 3-2 advantage into the first intermission.

Ivan Barbashev evened the score 6:40 into the middle frame with his team-leading sixth goal of the season. Late in the 2nd period the Senators snapped the tie and held a 4-3 edge after 40 minutes.

Vegas couldn’t generate much offensively early on in the final frame. Late in the game though, the Golden Knights had several quality chances and capitalized on a late power play opportunity. Tomas Hertl tied the game with a PP goal and Keegan Kolesar gave Vegas the lead a minute later. Barbashev sealed the game with an empty net score. VGK remains undefeated at home with their 6-4 victory over Ottawa.

Vegas Golden Knights vs Los Angeles Kings 10-22-2024

The Golden Knights were looking to bounce back from their difficult road trip with win at home against the Los Angeles Kings. Less than five minutes into the contest Tomas Hertl opened the scoring with a power play goal. A few shifts later Mark Stone doubled the lead with a power play goal of his own. Pavel Dorofeyev notched his third of the season to send Vegas into the first intermission with a 3-0 edge.

Vegas was forced to kill off six minutes in penalties in the middle period. Alex Pietrangelo got called for holding and Nic Hague committed a four-minute high-sticking penalty. The Golden Knights penalty kill unit stepped up and held the Kings scoreless on the power play. With time winding down LA scored to get within two.

Leading 3-1, the Golden Knights quickly pushed to extend their lead. Alex Holtz buried a feed in front of the Kings net to regain VGK’s three-goal advantage. Midway through the final frame, Vegas took a commanding 5-1 lead with Hertl’s second tally of the night. Ivan Barbashev stretched Vegas’ edge even wider before time expired.

The Golden Knights record improves to 4-2-1 defeating the Kings 6-1 Vegas will have a couple of days off before they face the Ottawa Senators on Friday. Puck drop for VGK’s traditional Nevada Day game is scheduled for 3 PM.

Vegas Golden Knights vs Anaheim Ducks 10-13-2024

The Golden Knights were looking to stay undefeated with a win over the visiting Anaheim Ducks. Brett Howden quickly gave Vegas a 1-0 lead, scoring his second tally of the season. Anaheim evened the score five minutes later, sending the two teams into the first intermission tied 1-1.

Both clubs traded chances in the middle frame but couldn’t find the back of the net. Vegas was rewarded two power play opportunities but came up empty on both. After 40 minutes the game was locked in a 1-1 score.

Vegas drew another penalty and got to work early in the final frame. Tomas Hertl snapped the tie with his first goal of the season. With time winding time Pavel Dorofeyev scored his first of the year and extended the Golden Knights lead to 3-1.

The Golden Knights remain unblemished and their record improves to 3-0-0 on the young season. Vegas will hit the road for their next three games beginning on Tuesday. Puck drop in Washington, DC is scheduled for 4PM.

Adam Kutner Cares Donates $5,000 to Nevada Child Seekers

Adam Kutner Cares, the community initiative by Adam S. Kutner, Injury Attorneys, has donated $5,000 to Nevada Child Seekers, a vital organization dedicated to locating missing children in Southern Nevada. This generous donation also secured the title sponsorship of the Nevada Child Seekers Youth Fest, an annual community event aimed at raising awareness about child safety. This year’s Youth Fest is set for November 16, 2024, at the Las Vegas Mini Grand Prix from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In a recent meeting between Adam S. Kutner’s team and Nevada Child Seekers’ Executive Director Margarita Edwards, the teams discussed their shared mission of child protection and support for the nonprofit’s essential work. Both teams expressed excitement for future collaborations, including volunteer opportunities and additional support for Nevada Child Seekers’ efforts. This partnership exemplifies Adam Kutner Cares’ ongoing commitment to the community and aligns with Nevada Child Seekers’ mission of making Southern Nevada a safer place for all children.

Vegas Golden Knights 2024-25 Season Opener

 

The official 2024-25 Golden Knights season kicked off with an Opening Night matchup vs. the Colorado Avalanche. Colorado came out firing, but Vegas goaltender Adin Hill kept the game scoreless. Midway through the 1st period the Avalanche took the opening lead which the Golden Knights erased :27 seconds later. Newcomer Victor Olofsson scored in his first-ever game with Vegas to even the score 1-1. Top six winger Ivan Barbashev gave his team their first lead of the season and Mark Stone doubled Vegas’ edge :25 seconds later.

Colorado quickly cut Vegas’ lead, but the Golden Knights came back a minute later. Veteran defenseman Zach Whitecloud recorded his first goal of the 2024-25 season to regain Vegas’ two-goal edge. The Avalanche got within one score again, but Olofson picked up his second goal of the game on the power play. After 40 minutes in, the Golden Knights held a 5-3 margin.

The Avalanche scored first for the third straight period to cut VGK’s lead to one. However, Stone scored the team’s second power play goal of the game to make it a 6-4 advantage. Barbashev scored his second goal moments later and Brett Howden sealed the game for Vegas scoring on an empty net.

The Golden Knights began their season with a 8-4 victory over the Avalanche from T-Mobile Arena. Vegas will next hit the ice on Friday night against St. Louis. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:07 PM.
